4. Risk Notice for Art and Luxury Goods
The market for art and luxury goods (including paintings, sculptures, watches, jewellery and collectibles) is subject to constant change. Please note in particular:
• Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance.
• No specific performance or return can be guaranteed. Losses of the capital invested, up to and including a total loss, are possible.
• Art and luxury goods are comparatively illiquid; a sale may take time and may not be possible at any given moment or at a specific price.
• Valuations are based on expert judgement and market comparables and may change as new information emerges (e.g. regarding provenance, condition or authenticity).
• Ancillary costs such as commissions, insurance, storage, transport, restoration and taxes materially affect the economic outcome.
Only invest amounts whose loss you could bear financially, even if the market moves significantly against you. Art and luxury goods are not financial instruments within the meaning of the Swiss Financial Services Act (FinSA). Our services do not constitute financial, tax or legal advice; please consult appropriate professionals where required.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for direct or indirect damage arising from access to or use of the Site, its unavailability, reliance on its content, or technical malfunctions.
